I know, I know…it’s been a while since I last posted. But it’s for good reason, I promise! And I will reveal those good reasons in the weeks to come but for now, let me return with a GIVEAWAY 🤗 Do you forgive me yet?
I don’t know about you babes, but hair is one thing I have just never got the motivation to do. My hair care routine seriously lacks attention and my day-to-day hair is always the same because, well…I’d rather sleep a bit longer each morning than get up and do my hair.
BUT…watching this tutorial by Chelsea gave me serious hair inspo! She shares her tips and fave products to introduce to your hair care routine, and she shows us how to curl your hair using your straightener (and makes it look so damn easy!).
Exciting news, my loves!
We’ve just launched our very own, super freakin’ cool AFFILIATES PROGRAM! 🙈
Alright, so I may be being a little bit dramatic…but I do think it’s pretty cool if you don’t mind me saying. I mean, it just sounds fancy, and I like to think I’m fancy.
If you love our brand and our clothes and you love sharing that love with your friends, family or followers, then this is for you! You don’t need to have a massive following by any means. I mean, if you have 30k followers then we want you! 😏 But if you have 200 followers of really engaged family and friends, then we want you just as much!
Our gorgeous Chelsea F has done it again! We seriously lust over all her makeup tutorials and this one is no exception. Who doesn’t love a good gold smokey eye? I know I do! I’ll be testing this one out sometime soon 🙈 I just need someone to take me out for a night…any takers? …anyone? 😂
Elana Pa’apa’a is one half of the founding mother/daughter team of Blush Clothing Playhouse. She is a musician and vocalist, a food lover, an optimist and an ‘entrepreneur’ (apparently…). She is also the Business, Social Media, Marketing and PR Manager of the business and the editor of this Blush Babes blog. She’s the one who laughs at her own jokes in the social media posts and the one who replies to all your messages and comments! But really, she’s just a 24 year old girl muddling her way through life like everyone else.
Our babes threw some questions at her, and these were her answers!
Last night I came across an Instagram account that features two beauties of completely different body shapes celebrating women of all shapes and sizes and it made me think…we need to revisit exactly why we started our business and how we came up with our concept with you guys.
1. Tell us about your beautiful self. Who is Ebony Louise?
I am a young mum to my 6 month old daughter, Ava Jayde, and a qualified beauty therapist. I live in the beautiful Gold Coast city and have my entire life – I don’t think I could ever move!
For the babes who don’t like wearing too much makeup or who want an easy, no fuss every day look, Chelsea F has us covered! In her recent YouTube video she shows us step by step how to achieve a glowing, natural makeup look for everyday wear to work or school or just out to lunch with the girls!
Flatlays are everywhere right now, and I’m not gunna lie, I love a good flatlay! But they can be surprisingly hard to master.
I’ve been doing quite a few lately for work because they are such a good way to show different styling options and colour palettes in a way that’s different to your normal stock photo. While our gorgeous models and bloggers do an amazing job of showing off our pieces, it’s always good to have a spot of difference in your insta feed, ya know? So flatlays are the perfect solution!
1. Tell us about your beautiful self. Who is Chelsea Levin?
I find it difficult to answer this question because I think I am hard to categorise or define. What I can say is that I am probably one of the weirdest people you will ever meet – no but actually! My idea of humour is taking fat face photos and toilet talk. Oh and I sometimes meow spontaneously – don’t ask me why. I think I am hard to categorise because I don’t try to fit in to any particular mould. I love embracing my own personality and style and don’t try to be something I’m not. Chelsea Levin is just Chelsea Levin!
